Your Body Is An Amanah

The Prophet ﷺ said

"Your body has a right over you."

Your health is not something to obsess over.

And it is not something to neglect.

It is an amanah — something to understand, nourish, and care for with intention.

You're in the right place if…

  • You feel overwhelmed by conflicting health and nutrition advice online
  • You want evidence-based education, not trends or fear-based claims
  • You want to care for your health without extremes, restriction, or guilt
  • You're navigating women's health — hormones, fertility, pregnancy, or motherhood
  • You want to understand balanced eating and approach weight loss wisely
  • You want maternal nutrition support — preconception through postpartum
  • You want to learn about gut health and long-term wellness
  • You're looking for a private, sisters-only space rooted in your deen

You're not the problem.
The confusion is.

Health and nutrition online have become exhausting.

One person tells you carbs are the problem. Another says seed oils. Another says weight loss is only willpower. Another says every symptom means a new supplement.

Instead of clarity, you're given trends, fear-based advice, and oversimplified claims that aren't grounded in real human evidence.

That is why things feel confusing.

The Three Pillars

This is where you stop guessing.

Amanah Health Academy is built on three pillars — so you can learn how to understand your body and make decisions with calm and clarity.

Through

Evidence

Not fear, trends, or random online claims.

Through

Balance

Not restriction, guilt, or all-or-nothing thinking.

Through

Deen

Because caring for your body is connected to your amanah, worship, family, and future.

Founder

Meet Ayah, founder of Amanah Health Academy.

When Ayah was diagnosed with PCOS, she felt completely lost. She didn't know which nutrition advice was true, what actually mattered, or how to take care of her body without feeling overwhelmed.

That experience is part of what led her to study nutrition and dietetics. The more she learned, the more she saw how many Muslim women were trying to care for their health while surrounded by confusing advice, fear-based messaging, and spaces that didn't consider our deen, modesty, lifestyle, or intentions.

That's why she created Amanah Health Academy — a space where Muslim women can learn about health and nutrition in a way that is evidence-based, practical, gentle, and rooted in Islamic intention.

Amanah Health Academy is the educational home of
Nutrition With Ayah.

    Sisters' words

    What sisters are saying

Myth busting has definitely helped me, and the healthy plate visual as well as the balanced eating module really helped me put things into practice. Alhamdulillah. I feel so much calmer and I approach nutrition without feeling bad or labeling foods as bad. It's okay to be flexible, and I just try to balance out my meals as much as possible.

"Your body is an amanah, and you should learn to take care of it based on real evidence and not just hearsay."

Very informative. The most helpful thing I learned was about cancer's link with red meat and processed meat. No more sausages at home.
